New Orleans FAN EXPO
January 10-12 2025
I am a featured guest at this years New Orleans Fan Expo this weekend! I cannot wait to visit the area and meet people. I am one of these guys who has never been and have always wanted to go to New Orleans. I am very excited. If there’s a place to see, a jazz club to hit, let me know ;)
Please come by if you’re in the area! I’ll be there all 3 days with new art prints, art books, original art, comics, and I’ll be signing your copies if you’ve got them!
I’ll also be doing a Sketch Duel with the Effervescent Derek Hunter on Saturday! I was getting my stabby hand ready for a Hunger Games duel for the last artist alley table, but apparently a “SKETCH DUEL” is when TWO CREATOR GUESTS GO HEAD TO HEAD IN A FRIENDLY DRAWING COMPETITION AND DISCUSS THEIR COMICS WORK, THE FINE DETAILS OF COMIC BOOK CONTINUITY, THEIR METHODS AND TOOLS OF THE TRADE AND A WHOLE LOT MORE. DON’T FORGET TO BE THERE AT THE START AND STAY TO THE FINISH AS LUCKY AUDIENCE MEMBERS WILL WIN THE ORIGINAL ART THAT IS CREATED!
So yeah, I practiced listening to dystopian folk music and stabbing a well inked pen nib into a foam Derek for nothing….. oh well. I’ll use that skill one day I’m sure. Watch your back Hunter!
