I am very excited to show you a few of the cards I’ve worked on. I have more coming that are finished and more that I am currently working on. But these cards are announced. Have you played the game? I have, it’s really fun but my 10 year old steals my phone and plays more often than I do.
I’m very proud and honored to get to play in the Marvel Universe with Marvel and Second Dinner.
Here’s the prelim I did for Devil Dino for the card!
What was the first Marvel comic you got into? I remember the first day I paid with my own money and got Alpha Flight and ROM from a circle K in Seattle Washington. It was an awesome day. A spinner rack of comics sat next to Ikari Warriors arcade machine and slush puppies in my belly. I know my kids will have their own set of memories but I wish they got to live in my world for a day, before screens and having to grow up too fast.
Over the years I’ve fallen in love with Spiderman, Wolverine, Hulk, and Fraction/Aja made me a Hawkeye fan for life. My son is a HUGE deadpool fan and we both enjoy talking about Miles Morales. It’s been awesome to relive that joy through his eyes. Seeing what he responds to and falls in love with in the Marvel Universe. And yes, I ask my kids who’d win in a fight.
My 5 year old says Kirby can beat up any Marvel character and I was so proud of him naming the artist behind so many comics until he reminded me he’s talking about that giant pink balloon from Nintendo ;)
